Absolutely Kutná Hora

The lovely town of Kutná Hora is waiting for your visit! On this tour I will take you back to medieval times. We will learn about the traditions of silver mining and minting, which solidified the historical importance of the town within the Bohemian kingdom of previous centuries. We will visit the beautiful cathedral of St. Barbara, an outstanding example of Gothic architecture, then stroll along the narrow, winding streets still filled with historical charm. We will also experience the Ossuary in Sedlec, known as the “Bone Church” for its interior decorations made from human bones. To complete the architectural tour, we will stop at the cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, which is another of  Kutná Hora’s beauties recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage list.

OPTION 2    This tour can be extended up to 8 hours and we can visit columned home and gardens of the Chateau Kačina.

OPTION 3    This tour can be extended up to 8 hours and we can visit the medieval castle of Český Šternberk.
